We are excited to share two new underwater films created together with Behind The Mask. Both projects were filmed on the same trip, yet each carries a completely different intention. One looks inward. The other looks outward. Together, they show two sides of what we love about underwater storytelling: Real moments underwater, honest storytelling, and the feeling you get when the ocean becomes part of you for a while.
THE SPACE BETWEEN – Diving from Komodo 2 Bali
This film is slower and more reflective. It follows a group of divers traveling from Komodo to Bali, but the story is not about the route. It is about the people behind the camera and the way the ocean shapes them. The underwater scenes are gentle and unforced. The narration touches on belonging and the familiar pull of the sea. It is cinematic, personal, and meant to feel like a memory rather than a travel film.

Above & Below – Komodo 2 Bali 🤿
A short look at what diving in Komodo can offer when the conditions line up. Strong currents, healthy coral, wide-angle blue water, and the kind of marine life encounters that make Komodo one of the world’s top dive locations. It is fast, energetic, and designed to give viewers a taste of the experience.
